There may be times when we are reluctant to put ourselves out there or try new things, and itโs often because of fear. We question if weโre smart enough or good enough... or what if we fail?๐
In her article ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ 7 ๐๐ฌ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ๐ด ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฆ๐ด๐ด๐ข๐ณ๐บ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ, Audrey Sherman Ph.D says โeveryone has fear. It is how you deal with it that matters.โ She encourages readers to not let fear limit your life, but says โseeing it as a challenge that needs to be overcome and making a plan for it empowers you and puts you in control of your life.โ Here are some skills she suggests to learn for eliminating fear: 1๏ธโฃLearn to trust yourself- trust that you will make good decisions, research and learn what you need and if you make a mistake you can correct it. 2๏ธโฃIdentify the components of your fear. (Rejection, failure, so on). 3๏ธโฃNeutralize the above components. Know and trust that If one of those things happen you can deal with it or you can find help with it. 4๏ธโฃBuild your self-esteem. Learn to like yourself. You forgive mistakes by others, why not yourself?
