Dear Diary,

Today Iโ€™m thinking about ๐‘œ๐“‹๐‘’๐“‡๐’ธ๐‘œ๐“‚๐’พ๐“ƒ๐‘” ๐’ป๐‘’๐’ถ๐“‡.


There may be times when we are reluctant to put ourselves out there or try new things, and itโ€™s often because of fear. We question if weโ€™re smart enough or good enough... or what if we fail?๐Ÿ˜”



In her article ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ 7 ๐˜š๐˜ฌ๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ด ๐˜•๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜บ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜–๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ณ, Audrey Sherman Ph.D says โ€œeveryone has fear. It is how you deal with it that matters.โ€ She encourages readers to not let fear limit your life, but says โ€œseeing it as a challenge that needs to be overcome and making a plan for it empowers you and puts you in control of your life.โ€ Here are some skills she suggests to learn for eliminating fear: 1๏ธโƒฃLearn to trust yourself- trust that you will make good decisions, research and learn what you need and if you make a mistake you can correct it. 2๏ธโƒฃIdentify the components of your fear. (Rejection, failure, so on). 3๏ธโƒฃNeutralize the above components. Know and trust that If one of those things happen you can deal with it or you can find help with it. 4๏ธโƒฃBuild your self-esteem. Learn to like yourself. You forgive mistakes by others, why not yourself?
